Congresswoman Karen Bass, a prominent national leader in health policy, will discuss issues surrounding aging in place. Awards will be presented to the recipients of the 2011 Pearmain Prize for Excellence in Research on Aging and the inaugural USC Roybal Institute Community Partnership Award.
Named for the late Congressman Edward R. Roybal, the USC Edward R. Roybal Institute on Aging is dedicated to improving the health and mental health of older persons and their families, particularly those from low-income and multiethnic backgrounds.
