Interested in global health and social justice? Always wanted to travel to Africa? Here's your chance to be the change and join the movement. USC GlobeMed partners up with a grassroots organization called CareNet Ghana in Ghana, which focuses on improving maternal and pediatric health in the area. During the summer, we go on-site in Ghana to help CareNet with their work. During the school year, we have weekly meetings every Thursday at 6pm in VKC 111, where we discuss global health issues and plan campaigns to raise money for our partner. This is a great opportunity to make a direct impact overseas! Also, to fundraise for CareNet, we are selling beta fish in decorated bowls and food to start for $10. Look out for us on Trousdale, or shoot us an email with an order. If you are interested in supporting our cause or have further questions, please email usc@globemed.org.
Best,
GlobeMed at USC
